Marcelo Durán Pérez

Estudiante Postgrado

Marcelo estudió sociología en la Universidad de Concepción y obtuvo un diplomado en técnicas avanzadas de análisis de datos sociales en la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2017). Su intereses en investigación incluyen comunes ambientales, construcción socio-natural de la realidad y producción de significaciones y prácticas territoriales. Desde le enfoque de la ecología política, Marcelo busca visibilizar construcciones  y producciones comunitarias sobre comunes ambientales. En este contexto busca comprender el caso del salmón Chinook en la región de La Araucanía, contribuyendo en develar gobernanzas locales.

Formó parte de la Fundación Tierra de Esperanza en el proyecto “Sistematización de experiencias socioeducativas en contexto de encierro” y actualmente constituye el equipo de investigación del proyecto “Comunalización y hetereogenidades económicas: espacios de diálogo en torno a casos en el centro-sur de Chile”, liderado por la Dra. Beatriz Cid, investigadora adjunta del Núcleo Milenio INVASAL.

Marcelo gusta mucho del deporte, en especial del fútbol. Además tiene un interés especial por la música dedicándose en sus tiempos libres a tocas batería y guitarra.
